Tierra de YOGA retreat center is located in Tierra de Suenos Lodge. Offering 7 gorgeous hardwood ecotourism minded Costa Rican bungalows that are set in the lush nature scape of our property. Our bungalows are adorned with your choice of queen size beds or for shared accomodations 2 singles per bungalow. Each Bungalow is supplied with all bedding and soft organic bamboo/cotton towels. Each ecotourist-minded bungalow has a different theme expressed in the hand carved wood, tile mosaics, painted murals, and artistic details. Enjoy hot showers and cool breezes from the overhead fan and large screened windows.

While staying in one of our bungalows you can experience ecotourism by getting close to nature, sleeping to the sounds of the jungle and relaxing in the hammock on your front porch. Observe heliconias, gingers, sloths, humming birds, howler monkeys, toucans and much more.

Our Standard Caribbean Bungalows have space for 1-2 “ecotourists”. The hand-carved canopy beds are queen sized and just one per bungalow. The canopy mosquito net on each bed not only protects you from possible mosquitos, but adds to a rustic and romantic ecotourism experience for your stay in beautiful Costa Rica.

These five bungalows all have a private bathroom and spacious front porch great for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding nature. The standard bungalows are perfect for couples or singles looking for a simple and elegant getaway.

Our Deluxe Caribbean Bungalows vary from the standard in size and amenities. Zen Garden, fondly known as the “Casita,” is two stories and can accommodate up to 5 people. This little house is perfect for guests who like to have more space and the option of cooking for themselves.

The first floor of the Casita is the same as the others, with a queen bed and bathroom. The second floor has a kitchen with extra seating and a futon/pull-down sofa, making a nice living space or a place to sleep two more! We highly recommend this bungalow to honeymooners or couples looking for a particularly special experience. The second floor balcony offers fabulous views of the rain forest canopy.

Casa Colibri, Hummingbird House, is our best family or group option. This spacious bungalow has a queen bed and bathroom downstairs and another queen bed as well as a twin bed in an airy upstairs room, comfortably sleeping 5 to 6 guests. The bathroom is large with the shower and toilet each behind their own vanity wall. This deluxe Casita comes with a mini-fridge and coffee maker. For those of you looking for total privacy, Casa Colibri is our only bungalow that has no neighbors (other than sloths, monkeys, hummingbirds and other jungle creatures of course!)

Host Teacher Accommodations

Enjoy a private space located on the yoga pavilion for your getaway and practice space. Shower on lower level with infrared sauna and 2 rooms with double beds in each room on the upper floor. Relax on your downtime or practice in your space, its up to you!
